The Eagle's EyeFor more than 40 years, the Eagle's Eye has served the Enloe High School community through informative, pertinent, and thought-provoking journalism. This year, the mission of the Eagle's Eye is to "seek to deliver news in a student-friendly manner while challenging readers to expand their minds and question their opinions." The Eagle's Eye arranges its publication into sections that include news, opinion, features, arts & entertainment, and school sports. The 'Loe DownThe Loe Down is a daily, live, informational program designed to give students the information they need to be fully involved in campus life. Airing at the beginning of second period, students are given the opportunity to physically appear on The Loe Down and make school-wide announcements on a daily basis. This efficient, effective means of communication combines the need to make announcements and the talents of advanced tv production students. Stone SoupEvery year members of Enloe's Literary Organization put together Stone Soup, a literary magazine composed entirely of student-created artwork, prose, and poetry. Stone Soup gives Enloe students both an outlet to display their creativity and a taste of the publishing world. The 2005-2006 edition of Stone Soup was named the best student literary publication in the state, and the magazine regularly showcases award-winning student work. |
