Moscow
Pushkin's Home State

Moscow is located in Northern Asia, bordering the Artic Ocean, between Europe and the North Pacific Ocean.  The

population in Russia is about 145,470,197 people since July 2001. Because of the diseases and high death rate, Russia's

population has dropped an extra 2% since 1992. Other problems include widespread corruption, capital flight, and brain

drain. Federation is Russia's type of government.  The climate is mostly humid and subartic in Siberia.  Along the Black Sea the

winters are mostly cool. The summers are warm in the steppes and cool along the Artic Coast. Russia has some of the same

issues as most places. Some of their environmental issues are air pollution from heavy industry, contamination of waterways

and soil erosion.
