Olive Senior

"I would describe myself as a conscious Caribbean person, even though I'm based somewhere else; my primary
area of interest is still the Caribbean," says the jamacian author Olive Senior.

    Olive Senior was born in Jamacia in the year of 1941.  She recieved a commonwealth writers prize for Arrival of the Snake Woman, Discerner of  Hearts, Summer Lightening, and other stories.
