Haikus and Limericks

Haikus

The snow is falling
Making soft tracks on the ground
Kissing your warm face

The bullets rain by
People did and children cry
Why does this make peace

The waves crash ashore
Dark clouds gather in the wind
A storm is coming

Sea oats bend and sway
Their backs bent with years of pain
Even they mourn for you

Closing in on me
Why do they bother my soul
Because of their love

Limericks

A man in a yellow top hat
Had a very big yellow cat
The cat turned blue
What could he do
He thought he would make a blue mat

There once was a man named Frank
One day he went to the bank
The bank was not open
So Frank started smokin
By the end of the day Frank stank

She tried to open her locker
She said for no one to stop her
The locker was stuck
It was just her luck
Her friend had started to mock her

One day the news forecast said snow!
I looked outside and then shouted whoa
The ground looked green and bare
Sunshine was everywhere
Where oh where did the snow go

Susan was pretty as a rose
She loved to play ball and sing prose
But if you know Susan
And if you're not snoozin
She is not pretty to the nose

It's a broccoli tree!

Drink Water! It's good for you.

I love music.
