A long long time ago there was this girl. Her name was Megan and she was 8 years old. She lived in the town of Charlotte NC. She had a mom, dad, brother, and a cat  named Lonna. She had just finished up school and so it was time for her to start camp. There were only two of her friends that were going to the same camp as her. The camp was called JCC (Jennie Carmen Camp). This would be her first year at the camp. She was kind of afraid about going to camp. She packed her bag and then her mom took her and her brother Jason to camp. She got there and saw her two friends there so she said goodbye to her mom and then hopped out of the car and raced over to her friends. Her brother went over to his friends. She did a lot of fun activities like art, drama, sports, music, and nature. She liked all of them but especially art time, where she made a small pillow. The day was almost over. Then it came time for lunch where her group ate inside. She had a lot to eat. Her mom had packed her a sandwich, a drink, some fruit, and a dessert. Her mom even wrote her a note. That made her all smiles. Then after lunch it was time to get into groups for activities. The choices of the day were sports, art, and hide and go seek. She picked hide and go seek with her friends since she had already done art that day. Then after that it was time for swimming. She made big jumps and splashes into the pool. She had a lot of fun doing that. Then it was time to dry off and get ready to go home. They put you into groups by age. She was in the 4th group with her friends because they were the same age. Her brother was in a higher group because he was older than she was. Then the people called her and her brother's name so they got up. She raced over to her mom and hopped in the car. Then they went home and had dinner and they told about their day at camp. She had gotten really tired so she went to bed. She awoke the next morning and ate breakfast. NEXT
