Limerick

Little Miss Betty Lou
Once had a terrible boo
She jumped out of bed
And slammed her head
No longer remembering who

She went to her mother Sue
And told her she was feeling blue
Asked if she saw her knot
She told her she did not
And asked what happened to you?

She told her she had a boo
And how it hurt her too
Mom said how awful
And yelled how unlawful
And sent away Little Miss Betty Lou

She went in her darkroom
And grabbed the nearest broom
Ready to attack
The things in her clothes stack
But it ran past her in a zoom

In a very frightful shock
She surveyed her room and took stock
It disappeared
She focused and peered
But it had slipped through the lock

She crawled off her high bed
And she sighed and said
I give up
Its not down or up
And went to her brother Ted.
