I wrote this based on a friendship I had that had meant a lot to me, but went through too much and ended not too long ago. My friend and I both tried to save it but it was too late. I miss her, but I know that too many things would have to be changed for us to try and be friends again. By titling it True Friends Never Fade, its basically just saying that even though people may come in and out of your life, those that truly matter will always know that they can come to you if they need you and that you'll always care. Friends come and go but true friends, are there forever.
