Here we have another problem.
As it turns out, my e-mail can't be opened on a school computer because they don't have Eudora, the program I receive my mail on. Trust me on this, I've tried looking, so you can imagine how aggravated I am. I tried to mail myself the story so I wouldn't have to bring in a floppy disc, because they usually give me trouble. That idea was a flop.
So I figured "Hey, why don't I save my story on a disk and open it on a school computer?" Sounds like a good enough idea, right? A good idea, but not a successful one.
Apparently, my laptop that the story is saved on formats discs differently than a regular computer, because when I tried to open it, I received a lovely massage. It said, in modern English, that something was wrong with the disc and it couldn't be opened.
So, in short, my story will be forever stuck on my computer unless I figure out how to get it onto another one by this time tomorrow. Knowing me and my technologically challenged ways, it isn't going to happen.
Even if by some miracle it does happen, our computer specialist here at Enloe would have to help me put it on the rough draft here on MS Publisher in multiple page format and THEN turn all the collective pages into a web site, a task I don't believe she'd be willing to perform last minute for a little troublemaker like me.
BUT.
If it does happen, you'll never know I had a problem, because this senseless banter will have been replaced with a short story instead.
BUT.
If you've read all this, it means I haven't, and my grade is going to suffer for it. Probably. So I'll squeeze in as much as I can to make up for the current lack of a story.
