Siemens Competition in Science, Math and Technology A. Ramasubramanian, B. Tan and B. Wang were regional finalists. They won $1000 per student and a $2000 and a banner in acknowledgement of the students' research. A. Chivukula resulted in a $2000 prize and a banner. Regional and State Science Fair A. Ramasubramanian, B. Tan and B. Wang were first place winners in the team division. They won $50 Army Award, $75 State Science Fair Award Money, Invitation to NCSMT Dinner, Invitation to the International Science and Engineering Fair and potential $10000 scholarship to Ohio Wesleyan University North Carolina Student Academy for Sciences
A. Chivukula, First Place and awarded Top Honor, in the math division American Math Contest (AMC-12) Team of A. Chivukula, V. Bhattacharya and M. Lavrov placed 4th. V. Bhattacharya earned a national award for his individual finish. Brain Game P. Kamalakanthan, A. Shrikrishna and D. Vitek took first place with 400 points. Future Business Leaders of America The following students placed at FBLA's State Leadership Conference in Greensboro, NC.

T. Brader Science Olympiad Science Olympiad was fourth overall out of over 45 teams and placed in 14 out of 25 events.
First place : NC Comprehensive Math Contest
M. Lavrov, 1st place individually, won a full scholarship to Duke University; $500 from the American Mathematics Competitions organization; a mathematical software package; and invitation to North Carolina's defending national champion American Regional Math League (ARML); and a plaque for his finish. National Economics Competition L. Yang placed 3rd overall individually. DECA Marketing The following students received a certificate of proficiency in their events at the 2007 International Career Development Conference.

R. Rowe, Eighty-Eight Keys, Best Story by an Eligible Junior or Sophomore Phi Beta Kappa Writing Contest This contest rewards the best Wake County writers for their literary analyses that reflect a close reading and interpretation of text, preferably with secondary sources.

This gives qualifies them to represent the state of North Carolina at the 2007 FPS International Conference. Only 200 Gold Keys are chosen to represent schools and compete for national awards in New York City. We are proud to have our students chosen for this prestigious achievement in art. This past weekend, 18 DECA members competed at the NC DECA Career Development Conference in Greensboro, NC.
In total, we brought home 26 medals, 26 proficiency certificates, 2 trophies, and a plaque.

Details are below ... Our Quiz Bowl team placed in the top 8 (5th) after the preliminary round where they took a 100-question test. They then competed in a Jeopardy round, and made it to the final four, where they put up a good fight against last year's National Champions - losing to them by only 1 point! The team members were Dylan Donley, Preston Perry, Ryan Gury, and Adunni Ogunlanoh. Each received a medallion for their performance and placing in the top 8 teams. Additionally, students had the opportunity to take 3 different recognition tests while at the conference and these were the results for Enloe:
