Siemens Competition in Science, Math and Technology

A. Ramasubramanian, B. Tan and B. Wang were regional finalists. They won $1000 per student and a $2000 and a banner in acknowledgement of the students' research. A. Chivukula resulted in a $2000 prize and a banner.

NC Comprehensive Math Contest

T. Crane placed 2nd overall in the Marketing Management Event. J. Lucas placed 4th overall in the Sports & Entertainment Marketing Event. Both of these students have qualified to compete at the International Career Development Conference in Orlando next month!

Our Quiz Bowl team placed in the top 8 (5th) after the preliminary round where they took a 100-question test. They then competed in a Jeopardy round, and made it to the final four, where they put up a good fight against last year's National Champions - losing to them by only 1 point! The team members were Dylan Donley, Preston Perry, Ryan Gury, and Adunni Ogunlanoh. Each received a medallion for their performance and placing in the top 8 teams. Additionally, students had the opportunity to take 3 different recognition tests while at the conference and these were the results for Enloe:
