Duke Math Meet '06 Results

On Saturday 11/11, Enloe sent two teams of six students to the Duke Math Meet, one of the most difficult and competitive math competitions of the year. Teams came from much of the Southeast, including from Atlanta and Washington D.C. Here are the details of how Enloe’s A-team finished (B-team results will be posted soon):

Awards

Enloe’s A-Team finished in 4th place, winning a plaque. We beat powerhouse Thomas Jefferson A from Washington D.C. by one point! We also easily beat NCSSM and every other North Carolina school except for East Chapel Hill, who won the competition.

V. Bhattacharya and D. Vitek were among just four students to score a perfect 8 out of 8 on the individual round, earning medals for their performance. M. Lavrov scored 7 out of 8 to help lead our team as well.
