Chess Club

Meetings: Wednesdays and Thursdays from 2:30pm to 3:30pm in Rm 1205

The purpose of this organization will be to encourage students to learn play better chess through practice and study; to provide a comfortable, respectful and productive atmosphere conductive to learning; and, most of all, to enjoy playing the game of chess. This organization also provides the option of its members participating in the State Scholastic Chess Tournament, at which students may distinguish themselves among the top chess players in North Carolina.
