Model United Nations is a simulation of United Nations with the aim of educating its participants about international policy and diplomacy. Students take on the roles as foreign diplomats in various United Nations committees such as the General Assembly, Economic-Social Council, and The Security Council at various Model United Nations conferences. Students research a country, adopt their country's position, debate, investigate issues of international policy, and with fellow students (who play foreign diplomats for other countries), create resolutions to issues of international importance.
